April 26, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – Give me one Pre-tribulation Rapture verse please!

Another good day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it as we await the pre tribulation rapture of the church.

Tom talks about the confusion and criticism of a pre-tribulation rapture.  People want a specific verse.

Tom remembers when he was a teenager and learned about the rapture.  It was in the late 70’s with Late Great Planet Earth, Hal Lindsey.  Tom remembers being excited about it.  His mom and Pastor talked about it and Tom didn’t know where to find it in the Bible.  Tom asked his mom where does it say that about it, what paragraph!  His mom said it’s all over the Bible.  Realized later to understand it, need to put all the puzzle pieces from places in the Bible.

Tom reads 3 verses  from Revelation. 

Revelation 5:8-10 – when He had taken the scroll, the 4 living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls full of incense which are the prayer of the saints. Tom says we know that saved believers are the only ones that are redeemed by the blood.  That means the church, the saved believers, are in heaven in Revelation chapter 5 before the tribulation starts in chapter 6.  Jesus hasn’t broken the seals, He’s holding the scrolls.  Next it says, and they sang a new song saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open it’s seal for You were slain and redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, tongue, people and nation and have made us kings and priests to our God and we shall reign on the earth.  It shows the church is already before Jesus, singing, praising Him.

Any other view changes the Bible.  The order of events is given.  There are many that say the believers remain on earth for part, or even all of the tribulation.  Often they have a legalistic view.  Say we have to endure suffering before we can be worthy.  They don’t understand the freedom in Christ through His blood He shed for us.

Tom says asking and led by the Spirit, showed to him, with conviction, the truth of the pre-tribulation rapture.   Without the Holy Spirit we can’t see His truth.  Being born again, receiving the Holy Spirit, He reveals to us as we ask and listen.

News –

Bloomberg – Hezbollah launched rockets and Israel responding.  Israel saying stepping up preparations for all out war with Hezbollah.  Watching.

Israel Today – Netanyahu is concerned about the arrest warrants from International Criminal Court toward Israeli officials.  It may be causing a delay in military operations in Rafah.  Or cause Israel to compromise to a lesser hostage deal with Hamas.

Also  more rhetoric from Hamas which divides Jerusalem, etc., etc.  Saying October 7 would be called the Palestine war of Independence.

Israel Today – UN officials were touring the aid pier being constructed by US military to increase the amount of aid to Palestinians.  Palestinian terrorists launched weapons to the installations and IDF came to the rescue to secure them from harm.    Tom says,  crazy!

Last 24 hour earthquakes. 35 over 4.0, 2 over 5.0.

Meta has flooded its platforms with AI, says soon  it will be everywhere.  FaceBook newsfeed, Instagram, search bar, even conversation with friends in messenger.  Trouble is, a lot of spam!

Another from  AP,  all over the internet.  Police said athletic director used AI to frame his principle with racist and anti-Semitic comments, remarks in a face audio clip.

An AI expert said AI is becoming increasingly powerful and easy to use.  Someone can load up anyone’s voice and give it text and start creating voices of that person.   

Tom says the fake has very dangerous aspects.  It’s everywhere, even though aware of the problems.

Another is saying lab grown meat has to be made to fool the brain to make it seem like real meat!   Hah!  Clown World!

Testimonies and comments –

Her son asked his mom to do a 21 day New Testament read.  When she did the Word became alive to her.  The living God in her, the spirit of truth upon her.  She was surprised at the change she felt.  She asked God about it, asked was it a do over, and with every fiber in her being hears yes.  It surprised her.  Says after that she does not care about the things of this world but just to love God and to love others the way Christ has loved us.

God meets us when we seek Him with all our heart.  Admitting our sin and asking forgiveness He gives unconditional forgiveness and perfect love. 

Someone commented to leave notes in wallet or purses of the Gospel and rapture for those left behind.

Says she laughed when admitted she gets her news from a guy in a van down by the river!

Several comments that as we know God is in our care in these times, we can rest in Him.

Gospel –

When we see this world we see the need for our Savior.  He rescues us because He came to remove the sin and the effects.  He gives a new life.  He died to remove all sins, forever.  The perfect sacrifice needed, His shedding of blood to pay for all sins.

Must believe news, Faith that He died, was buried and rose the 3rd day.  If reject, don’t receive, will go to hell, sins not removed.

Receive the gift He gives for salvation to be with Him forever.  Tell Him you believe, receive His Holy Spirit, be rapture ready, with Him forever.

Be saved today.
