Scriptures about God our comforter. 

2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 “Blessed by God the Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

Tom says the Holy Spirit is the greatest gift, guides us, comforts us, the helper. 

News: Israel started ground raids in S. Lebanon. IDF called on residents of more that 20 areas of S. Lebanon to evacuate. US leaked out to Lebanon that Israel was coming. Israel’s security cabinet ministers were not happy about that. Biden administration said they support limited and localized operation then said they  oppose ground operation and calls for ceasefire. 

IDF Arab language spokesman warned Lebanon citizens to stay out of the Southern parts of Lebanon. 

Israel special forces are going into the tunnels. Several airstrikes on Damascus. Reports  of a targeted assassination. 

Russia said Israel must immediately withdraw troops from Lebanon. 

Rockets to Tel Aviv, some on the ground injured with shrapnel. 

Hurricane Helene: say death toll could rise to 600, say there many be thousands unaccounted for. Some stranded, no food or water.  

US dock workers, Longshoreman’s association, began strike on Tuesday after contract expired. Along the East Coast and Gulf Coast. First coast wide strike in almost 50 years. Shortages coming. 

A.I. Biohybrid robot made of human neuron and muscle cells controlled by programable electronic brain. Tiny bot the size of a dime, can swim, have fins.

Gospel:

Asks are you ready to see Jesus? If not sure, make sure. Believe in Jesus and what He did on the cross to save us. Died, shed His blood, rose again and went to heaven and is coming to take us to be with Him very soon. 

Perfect Lamb of God, without sin, took it all upon Himself as the required sacrifice to remove all sins. Believe and receive and will be forgiven of all sins. Nothing we do or can do, He did it all, a free gift. 

Will be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit, changed and ready to go in the rapture. Will be in heaven with Jesus and the family of God forever. Won’t be here during the 7 year tribulation. 

He is coming, be saved today.
