The USA OWNING THE GAZA STRIP??
Today Tom reads something from a brother in Christ, Marty Breeden that has been on Tom's heart to read.
Marty says if you are anything like me I often wonder what might have been and would be if I hadn’t backslid those years ago and took so many years living outside the will of God, the calling of God and living in sin and rebellion.
Chasing the next sinful thrill. Says this is something I personally grapple with often. Says as I contemplate this lately I’m reminded that the Bible tells us in Isaiah 46: 9-10 that God declares the end from the beginning. Says He knew all along that I would fail, backslide and then return. He gives us this promise in Joel 2. “I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten, and the cankerworm, the caterpillar, and the palmer worm, My great army which I sent among you. God Himself has promised to restore us the years we lived outside His will. He knew we would fail but He called us anyway. He also knew we would repent, ask forgiveness and ultimately once again make Him the Lord of our lives. How we end is far more important than how we start. Do the will of God now. Walk closer to Jesus now with full confidence that God, who knows all things past, present and future still has His mighty hand upon your life. Don’t ever doubt it.
President Trump met with Netanyahu yesterday and talked about Gaza. President Trump said US owning and controlling Gaza Strip would be a good thing.
Tom says, no. reminds us of Psalm 105: 8-11.
"He remembers His covenant forever. The word which He commanded for a thousand generations. The covenant which He made with Abraham, His oath to Isaac and confirmed to Jacob for a statue to Israel as an everlasting covenant saying, “to you will I give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance." It’s God’s land, for Israel.
Tom shares how he thinks is a healthy way to view “watch days” about the rapture. As many are now giving date they think the rapture may happen during this time. Tom says some can watch and look at it and be ok with it when we want to be with Jesus so much. But some believe and come to count on these predictions and get very let down if it does not happen then. Tom reminds us God has His set appointed time, set before the foundation of the world. Could be any day!
