June 18, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – Tension in Israel, what will summer bring?

Scriptures:

Philippians 4: 6-7 in everything with prayer and supplication let your request be made know to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. 

Tom says our prayers are talking to Jesus. He hears us. One of the greatest gifts we have. He loves us to talk to Him.

News

NY Post: Sr. Biden administration US advisor heading to Israel as the Jewish state warns it is on the brink of war with Hezbollah. To help ease tensions on 2 front war with Hezbollah on the northern border of Israel they say.

J. Post: Says all out war with Hezbollah not a question of if but when. Israel must defeat Hezbollah to provide security for its citizen. Says cannot accept a situation where a terrorist organization leads to mass evacuation of approximately 80,000 residents from their homes in the north. Says Hezbollah is the most serious threat to Israel except Iran. Says if Israel does not address this threat immediately there will be another October 7 in the north in a few years after Hezbollah consolidates and reestablishes itself on a northern border.

Tom says hears people are arriving in Lebanon from all over the Middle East that want to fight Israel.

Israel Today: US  envoy from US went to Beirut to work with ceasefire in Lebanon, saying great pessimism over the results. Israel says the war with Hezbollah is inevitable. Americans know that they say. Says Biden just hopes to delay the inevitable until the US election in November. Says Hezbollah is dragging it out making life on N. Israel impossible and America is playing into its hands.

After Biden’s envoy arrival in Beirut sirens went off in N. Israel as Hezbollah started rockets again. They had a pause for 72 hours, for a Muslim holiday they say. 

Yesterday Netanyahu asked US envoy to tell this to the Lebanon government. Said, make sure Hezbollah withdraws up north beyond  the river or you will get war. Tom says he doesn’t know if we will be here for that.

J.Post: says half of Hamas in Rafah is beaten, IDF will gain full control within 2 weeks they say. Saying Rafah has new kinds of defense with their tunnels. Booby traps with some houses having video surveillance in each room of the house to facilitate ambushes.

Israel Today: a Senior IDF officer fighting in Gaza said the division commanders hands are tied. Said they have no order to take Rafah fully on or they could have taken it like they did with Kahn Yunis. Tom says, maybe due to US pressure. 

Israel News: intelligence documents complied by IDF said 3 weeks before October 7 the Gaza division warned that a massive cross border attack during which at least 200 hostages would be taken according to Israel media reports. Tom says something strange went on there.

Last night tens of thousands demonstrated against the government in Jerusalem. They demand early elections. Polls show though it will have the same political deadlocks as the 5 previous elections. 

Tom says the hand of God is upon that people, they are not going anywhere.

Putin went to N. Korea to visit its leader to boost defenses between the two nuclear  armed countries  they said. 

First visit to the isolated nation in 24 years. Showed videos of huge banners with photos of Putin smiling saying, the ardently welcome President Putin. Huge banners from lampposts alongside Russian flags. 

N. Korea and Moscow have been allies since N. Korea’s founding after WW2 and even closer now since  the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. That led to the West isolation of Putin internationally. 

Insider Paper: reported N. Korea plans to sign important documents during Putin’s visit. Including a possible strategic partnership.

Insider Paper: Bird flu surging among mammals now including US cattle and a few humans says former New Zealand Prime Minister. Says the country is not ready and leaders need to act fast. Said they would will likely be overwhelmed again, potentially more dangerous than covid. 

Tom says they want to control people. We that belong to Jesus do not have to worry.

Pentagon wants to feed troops experimental lab grown meat to reduce CO2 footprint they say. A private company received more than 500 million in funding from defense department. Animal cells with chemicals. Criticizing for using tax payer dollars and our troops deserve better. Clown world.

Ai news. Concerned about results from Google generated Ai that give health symptoms with medical advice. The fake advice showing up on the top results of Google. An example, so far 26,000 people have looked tor advice for neck and back pain. 

Tom says Ai rolled out so fast and is careless, no limits. Even saying it could lead to human extinction. System of the beast in the Tribulation. 

Comments:

Says if feeling tired and down about the evil world around us read Psalm 94. Reminds us God is watching. All this evil will soon be eradicated by our Holy and mighty God. Jesus is coming very very soon, hang in there. 

Says I don’t want to be in this world anymore, this world has nothing I want. I’m empty handed but Spirit filled. Christ in me, the hope of glory. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Hallelujah, come Lord Jesus!

Says I agree Tom, this world is past the point of no return. I’m a child of God, thank You Jesus. I am ready for You to bring me Home. 

Says has an earthquake app on her phone set for 3.0 and above and it constantly goes off all day.

Says with all the signs happening all at once we are definitely in the last days. Weird weather patterns never seen in her 67 years. Jesus said those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will know the time. Thank you to Jesus every day for caring for her, providing all needs. 

Keegan: says as the dark clouds of the tribulation are ready to burst open there is a heaviness in my heart that I have never felt before.  For all our unsaved loved ones, family and friends. Because everything at any moment is going to change. In  the twinkling of an eye as we are about to be caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds to dwell with Him forever. 

Says when Jesus comes to take us Home at the rapture each of us will have a new face to face view of Jesus, a new eternal body, a new renewed mind, a new heavenly language, a new heavenly address and a new reunion with our departed loved ones who are in Christ. No more death, pain, tears, worry, regret, or any sin. Maranatha, come Lord Jesus! 

Gospel:

Tom says 26 months now has been coming to the river to proclaim Jesus in coming soon. So many changes to the world in the last 2 years. Time is short. 

Pleads and begs, if don’t belong to Jesus and have a relationship with Him, realize He paid for your sins with His blood. Believe in His finished work, your time it short. 

We are in different times now, the season of the rapture, the cusp of the 7 year tribulation. Pleads, listen to the Gospel. The only decision that has eternal ramifications. Where will you spend eternity, heaven or hell?

Jesus came to earth to shed His blood to take away all sins. The Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world, planned before time. Jesus fully God, fully man, He loves us.

Wages of sin is death. We are all sinners and cannot got to heaven unless receive His payment for our sins.

Must believe, admit of being a sinner and have faith. He died, was buried, and rose the third day. Then  we are saved,  born again, and receive the Holy Spirit and rapture ready. 

Warns if reject, don’t believe, won’t have sins forgiven and will not go to heaven but to hell forever.

Be saved today, there may not be another chance.
