October 18, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – So What’s Next? Iran Strike!

Philippians 4: 19, my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 4: 13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. 

Tom says now that Sinwar is gone when will Israel strike Iran? Or a peace agreement? Not likely to make peace with terrorist enemies. Or they say, peace and security and then the rapture. 

Amir reports the events of yesterday with the death of Sinwar. Israel military spotted a suspicious figure going in and out of a building in Rafah. They alerted their commander who was himself wounded October 7. They began moving toward the target suspecting terrorists with tanks and a drone identified the 3 figures. They fired s shot and then the characters split up. Sinwar went into the 2nd floor and the tank force fired a shell into the building. The commander entered the building where he was and 2 grenades were thrown at them . With a drone it showed Sinwar, he was wounded in the head and masked. He attempted to throw a wooden stick at the drone. IDF fired another tank shell. 

The next morning when they came back to the building they discovered several bodies and released one who looked like Sinwar. On his body they found a lot of cash, documents and maps of tunnels they didn’t even know about. 

Now the countdown has begun for a strike in Iran. Iran is angry. 

Following this Hezbollah announces a new escalation phase. Saying it has used precision guided missiles to target troops. 

Tom says with the responses to the death of Sinwar many are mourning about it. Some angry. UNRWA put a black band across their logo today on X, “mourning the loss of their hero and leader.” The Kremlin said its concerned about a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and Lebanon. Hamas official says the group cannot be eliminated and does not confirm Sinwar’s death

. 

Bubba says Hezbollah announced that its hight commanders have been given orders to its fighters to escalate operations against Israel. Iran wants pressure on Israel to take eyes off the nuclear program. IDF is still operating in S. Lebanon and now controlling certain areas along the borders there. Also though, IDF is taking a beating inside Lebanon. In the past 24 hours tanks were destroyed and damaged.

With Sinwar being removed Hezbollah wants revenge for their Hamas brothers. 

Temporary replacement found for Sinwar. Tom says, how long will he last? 

Israel Today Article: most Israelis celebrated but some protested outside defense ministry in Tel Aviv against the war. They insist continuing the war only endangers the remaining hostages and making a deal with the devil only encourages him to do the same again. Says impossible situation for the army and government but most Israelis want to continue until victory os achieved. That means freeing as many hostages as possible and removing the ability of Hamas and Hezbollah to do this again. 

Israel energy ministry Eli Cohen said there is no immunity for any person or facility in Iran for our attack and all options are on the table, including attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Amir reports last night a senior military commander in Hezbollah was killed in IDF strike. 

N. Korea is reported sending 12,000 soldiers for Russia’s war in Ukraine. 

Solar maximum is at highest and says it could get worse and continue for the next year. 

Severe rainfall in France. Reports 27.6 inches in 24 hours. Tom says note Macron is turning his back and against Israel. The same as when happens in the US and sees drastic weather.

Gospel: 

We can have peace when we hand it all over to God. He is perfect, His plan is perfect. 

God sent His only begotten Son, planned before time, to be the perfect sacrifice for sin. Jesus, fully God, fully man. The only sacrifice that could redeem man from the sin that entered the world. Jesus died, shed His blood that takes away every sin, past, present and future. Admit of sin and need for a Savior. Believe what Jesus did and receive His forgiveness and eternal life. Will be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit, changed and rapture ready. He loves us. 

Be saved today, be  with the family of God and Jesus forever  in heaven.
