UN steps up pressure for Gaza ceasefire. UN Secretary  General Guterres sent a letter to 15 member Security Council to invoke article 99 of UN charter over war with Gaza. States that he may bring to the Security Council any matter that may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security. Tom says hear it again, and over and over.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen accuses UN head Guterres of backing Hamas after he uses a rare clause to urge the truce. Accused him of supporting Palestinian terror group Hamas and called for his resignation. Said a danger to world peace. He said it was an endorsement of the murder of the elderly and abduction of babies and rape of women.

On UN website: 2 Jewish ultra nationalist organizations are planning a Jerusalem march. They are called Temple Mount activist groups. To go on with the start of Hanukkah, which is Friday, the festival, and titled, march of the Maccabees. Through the Damascus gate, the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and finish at the entrance of the Temple Mount by the Western Wall. The holiest site at which the Jews are allowed to pray. Hamas is expressing outrage at the march calling it a dangerous attempt to impose Zionist control over Al- Aqsa Mosque and saying, our people will not allow it, no matter the cost.

Jerusalem Post: Netanyhau said now Israeli forces can now reach anywhere in the Gaza strip. Yesterday they surrounded the home of the Hamas leader. Says it’s not his fortress and he can escape but says its only a matter of time until we get him.

Tom says alot of Hamas people are surrendering. Pictures of many kneeling stripped to their underwear. They do that in case they were wearing explosive devices.

Israel Today: Galant told the northern region residents they should not return to their homes until Hezbollah is removed. Says they could do it either of 2 ways. 1. through a political arrangement with ones like the US or France which is their preference but does not see it realistic, 2. Removing Hezbollah through military means.

Yesterday Israeli cabinet voted in favor of meeting American requests that 32,000 gallons of fuel be allowed into Gaza everyday. White House insisted it was necessary to avoid humanitarian crisis and outbreak of disease in Gaza. Former Israeli Prime Minister Bennett said sending more fuel into Gaza Is a serious mistake. Says this fuels the oxygen, literally, that Hamas needs. Without it, they suffocate in their tunnels and bunkers. Says Israeli government should have stayed firm in face of American pressure.

Tom says Israel is getting world wide pressure to stop this, for peace and security. God steps in.

Hamas has a new humanitarian shield. IDF detected a number of rocket launchers from inside or next to humanitarian zones as the refugee tent cities and UN facilities in S. Gaza, They have becomea new bases of operation for Gaza because no one stopped it. Tom says the UN tent cities are where they are firing the rockets from, a “safe zone”.

Political: Israel could open a second front into Lebanon to push Hezbollah back from Lebanese border. An article said US and France said to Lebanese government  full withdrawal of Hezbollah from S. Lebanon from resolution 1701 or war.
