June 15, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – Is Jesus coming back?

Scriptures of comfort, rapture verses. 

1 Corinthians 15: 51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18, He is coming, the rapture! 

John 14: 1-3 do not be troubled, He is preparing a place to receive us unto Himself. At the rapture, to take us to be with Him in heaven forever. 

2 Thessalonians 2: 7-8 The Holy Spirit in us is the restrainer. Holding back the evil that is coming when we are removed. 

1 Thessalonians 5: 2-6. Tom says many criticize us for waiting for the Lord to return, saying we should just share the Gospel. We are doing both.

Revelation 3: 10, He keeps us from the hour of trial coming on the whole world. The time when God works with Israel and the Jews to come to Him. 

Isaiah 26: 19-21, describes the place the believers to be taken to, in heaven, away from the time on earth.

News

Tom says it seems like the birth pangs today with the news, in between ramping up. 

Amir: Lebanese journalist says the Taliban has informed Iran that is wants to fight Israel and ready to send thousands of fighters. 

Iran is ready to flood with S. Lebanon and S. Syria with fighters from Pakistan and Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen on the north front. America knows that.

Fires in S. Lebanon with the hot dry weather and the rockets hitting. 

Also reports Biden Administration told CBS news they interpret Israel’s recent attacks deep in Lebanon as preparation for massive and widespread attack by IDF.

Israel Today: 75% of Palestinians are satisfied with Hamas war on Israel and if Palestinian elections were held today Hamas would easily win.

Reports subs from Russia, US, Canada are around Cuba, some nuclear powered. Canada and Cuba have long standing relations.

In Maine, reports of houses set on fire and propane tanks exploding, by a shooter, . Firing at police also.

Weather: 

Severe flooding in Chili with damage to more than 2,000 homes. Still flooding in Spain.

Past 24 hour earthquakes, 40 over 4.0 and 3 over 5.0.

Reports of parking vans, RV’s and trailers along the streets of the worst part of major cities and renting them to people who can’t afford homes. Call them Van Lords. 

Tom says there is so much homeless, can’t wait to go  Home!

CNN, Ai generated photos have been creeping into photograph contests the last few years. Can’t tell what is real or what is Ai. People even fooling some pretending to be Ai when it is a real photo. 

Testimony

Said when very little lived under communism. Both parents and 3 siblings died of starvation. When a young teen came to the US by a church sponsor and missionaries that in time, she came to the Lord. Sees how God was always with her and praises Him forever. 

Says, I don’t have time to leave a comment, but if I did I would say Jesus is King and the Kingdom of heaven is at hand!

Says Israel has a prophetic destiny, what is happening now will affect us all. The King of kings is coming! 

Says her little 8 year old granddaughter blesses her with her love for the Lord. Says she was reading stories from her little Bible to her grandma and read to her what she wrote in the cover. “No matter how many steps you take away from God, when you turn around He will always be there waiting for you.”

Says Jesus is King of kings, Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, first and last, the Word, God Almighty, my Redeemer, My Savior, my God and my best friend.

Gospel: 

Saved by grace through faith in what He did for us. Nothing we do or can do. Don’t have to be water baptized, it is only by faith to believe. Baptism is a proclamation of faith. 

Jesus came to earth to die, shed His blood, to take away sin  so can be forgiven. When believe, will be saved, and sins forgiven so will go to heaven with Him.

Warns if reject, don’t believe, will not be saved and will not go to heaven but to hell forever. 

Admit of being a sinner and receive His forgiveness and be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit and rapture ready, in heaven with Him forever,

Be saved today.
