Scriptures about the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5: 22-23 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, against such there is no law.

Romans 5:5.. the love of God has been poured in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. 

2 Timothy 1: 7 God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. 

Acts 1: 8 You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses of Me in Jerusalem and all of Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. 

Tom says when we believe in Jesus finished work and His atoning blood it is miraculous to  then receive  the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is a gift of God to us that have been saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. 

News: 

The US is saying a break through has been made to negotiate a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Senior Biden Administration said yesterday it may be tied to the release of the hostages. Said a development with Hams that is fully consistent with US drafted agreement passed by UN Security Cabinet last month.

Tom doubts this will happen. It hasn’t happened and they don’t  want Israel to exist. 

Times of Israel:

Israel says it is sending a delegation for renewed hostage talks on Hamas’s proposal a day after Hamas submitted its latest amendments to the current proposed dates. Netanyahu updated Biden about the decision and said of negotiations to talk on the phone. Netanyahu continues to stress the war will end only after achieving all its goals. 

Tom says still hearing “peace and safety”. Wonder what is the peace and safety that leads to sudden destruction? Could it be something like this, a ceasefire then people feel safe to go back to N. Israel?

J. Post: are they going to switch from high intensity war to ongoing low war in Gaza promoting a hostage deal. At the same time shifting to the North, by agreement or war. To prevent Iran from a nuclear breakout and weakening of regime. Saying if Hamas is so desperate for a deal  now is not the time for it but rather press the pedal. But there is pressure with many in Israel, and around the world, and the hostage families and the US. And Sinwar may think he can achieve his goals at this time. 

Israel Today: if there is a Gaza ceasefire Hezbollah  will halt its attacks on N. Israel but not agree to pull its forces back from the border and North of the river according to UN Security Council. The situation will not end the conflict but only delay the next phase of the war, perhaps not until after the US election. This means the residents of N. Israel will remain internally displaced. 

Israel Radar: It is said Hezbollah has mounting losses and lost up to 400 operatives including its most senior commander in S. Lebanon. Hezbollah may decide to launch a surprise assault which he may boast of his new achievements before quickly agreeing to a ceasefire deal. Hezbollah attack would be even more likelier if Hezbollah is convinced Israel is about to launch a preemptive strike. In that case, Iran’s leader my decide to order the first strike. They know a surprise attack on Israel would be a risky move that carries a heavy price tag for Hezbollah and Lebanon. So Iran may continue limited contact as long as it can. Say Israel should not fall into dangerous trap. 

Tom says the big problem for Israel is Hamas has people all over the world demonstrating on Hamas behalf. And the news media the same. But God has His hand on the nation and its people and they should not mess with the Most High God. They will find that out very very soon. 

Israel Today: yesterday’s rocket and drone attack to N. Israel caused dozens of fires involving thousands of forest burned. They say it will take between 10-15 years to restore them.

Reported by IDF one soldier died and others wounded in yesterday’s rocket and drone attack on North Israel. 

J Post: videos showing Hamas terrorists severely beating hungry Gazan’s for stealing aid.  Hungry Gazans went into warehouses where Hamas had his stolen Humanitarian and food there.

Tom shares that often these videos he sees are very hard. Feels he need to in order to report to us what is going on.

Weather:

Volcanos erupting around the world. One in Iceland, another Italy. Said it spilled hot lava raising alert levels in the Mediterranean island of Sicily. Shutting airport down. 

Enormous tornado in China.

Insider Paper: hurricane Beryl is making landfall in Mexico. Yucatan Peninsula has winds of sustained 100 mph making it a cat 2. They predict it could hit Texas and it may gain speed. Pray the Lord calms the storm.

Potential historic dangerous hea  wave along the West Coast with no relief expected for days. From California to Oregon, Nevada and Arizona they are bracing for potential wildfires. Temperatures from 100- 110, and 120’s possible in the desert SW.  Death Valley in California could top 125 degrees. Las Vegas could exceed all time high of 117 by Sunday or Monday. 

Past 24 hour earthquakes, 44 over 4.0 and 3 over 5.0.

Comments:

Says prays every day for protection for Israel and thanking God for protecting the children in that kindergarten. 

Says Tom helped her work through letting go of guilt and past sins and letting Jesus wash her clean by His blood.

Talks of the wildfires in California and remembers when the fires destroyed their town of Paradise in 2018. They escaped with their lives and nothing else. While they lost everything they said they had not lost what mattered most, each other. Thanks God for His goodness and faithfulness. 

Gospel:

Warns the rapture is very close, don’t be left behind. Must be saved before it is too late or will be in the 7 year tribulation. 

God sent His only begotten Son 2,000 years ago to be the sacrifice  and give His life to forgive and take away all sins. A blood sacrifice was required. Jesus blood was once and for all payment for sins. His blood perfect and powerful. Power to remove all sins ever committed. He died, was buried and rose the third day and seen by over 500 people.

He loves us. Wants all to be saved by faith in Him and be in heaven with Him forever. 

Believe, be saved, born again, filled with Holy Spirit and rapture ready. 

Warns if reject, don’t believe, will not have sins forgiven and not go to heaven but to hell. 

Choose His free gift of salvation by faith today.
