January 9, 2025 – Is God JUDGING CALIFORNIA? Massive Fires…

Tom reads Psalm 27 for us of comfort and protection. It says seek to dwell with the Lord all the days of your life. Behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His Temple. Says I will sing praises to the Lord, we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Says wait on the Lord and  be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart.

Tom has a serious message today. The wildfires in California are raging out of control. There is much devastation, loss of life, people loosing everything. 

Tom notices people are saying, “Oh my God” all the time. We know that in times of trouble people will seek the Lord. We know many will come to salvation and we pray for that. Our hearts break for the pain of every suffering person and their families.

Some say it is the judgment of God to a sinful California. But we all have sin. We know satan is the one that brings destruction. The wrath of God is during the time of the tribulation on earth. We are looking for that day, soon to come, when we leave this earth and there will be no more pain, sorrow but everything will be as it was meant to be.

Massive blackouts leave thousands of people in LA without power as early as Thursday am. Told to boil water for face washing or shower to avoid contamination. Entire blocks burned to the ground. A new fire exploded in Hollywood Hills. 7 major fires in LA so far. And odd it is in the winter. 5 deaths so far and more than 100,000 people forced to leave their homes. Fire hydrants ran dry. The area is very dry. The water system in LA could not meet the demands. The most destructive fire in the cities history. Not getting assistance from fire fighting aircraft. At least 1,000 buildings in flames in Pacific Palisades area. A comment from some  say they think something sinister is going on, evil and deliberate. Tom says it can remind us of the fire in Hawaii. Says satan knows we are in the last days, wickedness abounds. 

Some think private equity firms want to take over the property area. We know there is the Great Reset and New World Order. The world elites want control. 

From the Middle East, 2 bodies of hostages were found, a father and son. These had 2 other family members that were taken by Hamas that were released earlier in the year. Newsmax reported Biden’s transition team told Trump’s administration the number of hostages still alive in Gaza Strip is only about 20. Other sources say it could be as high as 40.

Due to the wave of international lawsuits against IDF soldiers in the army  will no  longer publish a picture or name of soldiers in the field or average infantry troops without first blurring their faces. Only officers with the rank of Colonel or above will be permitted to conduct face to face interviews and use their full name in the media. 

US finance minister said after Trump takes office the military pressure on Gaza will increase. It won’t be in and out operations but the seizure of territory. Says we will choke Hamas until it is overthrown. Says we will remain in Gaza for a long time to come.

Iran media says the army announced in the coming days 1,000 drones designed and produced by Islamic republic of Iran army and ministry of defense will join the army’s combat operation. 

Tom reminds us we have no need to fear. When we read Psalm 27 we know Jesus is in complete control and our King is coming to get us very soon. 

Israel’s defense minister said Israel is on the brink of war with the West Bank terror group. The IDF is ramping up full scale combat in the area. 

2 rockets from Lebanon were fired into N. Israel with supposed ceasefire. 

Syrian education ministry said under the countries new Islamic leadership the schools will be altered to Islam. The schools in Syria will refer to Jews and Christians as those who are dammed and gone astray. The terrorists are running the country. 

The Kremlin in Russia is closely following Trump’s talk of acquiring Greenland. Trump said at a press conference Thursday he refused to rule out military action. He talked of putting high tariffs on Denmark. Russian spokesman said it is so far just talk. Says Russia  wants peace and stability in the zones and are willing to work toward that. Tom says Russia, China, everyone wants Greenland. 

Amir said Russian air strikes into Ukraine targeting a civilian building. 30 died so far. Tom said it was bad, pray for the people. 

Gospel: Jesus came to earth to rescue us from the sin we all have that keeps us from heaven and a Holy God. The plan since before the world to provide the perfect sacrifice that can take away all our sins. God’s only Son, without sin took all our sins upon Himself on the cross. We must admit of sin and the need for a Savior and believe and receive His free gift He offers to everyone. Some reject this offer and will not go to heaven but to hell. All have a choice, one or the other. Believe He died, was buried, and rose the 3rd day. Will be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit and ready to go to heaven and will not be on earth during the 7 year tribulation.

Be saved today, in heaven with Jesus and the family of God forever.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;

Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life;

Of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked came against me

To eat up my flesh,

My enemies and foes,

They stumbled and fell.

3 Though an army may encamp against me,

My heart shall not fear;

Though war may rise against me,

In this I will be confident.

4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,

That will I seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

All the days of my life,

To behold the beauty of the Lord,

And to inquire in His temple.

5 For in the time of trouble

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

In the secret place of His tabernacle

He shall hide me;

He shall set me high upon a rock.

6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;

Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;

I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When You said, “Seek My face,”

My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

9 Do not hide Your face from me;

Do not turn Your servant away in anger;

You have been my help;

Do not leave me nor forsake me,

O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me,

Then the Lord will take care of me.

11 Teach me Your way, O Lord,

And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
