October 29, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – Hold on to Jesus Right Now!

Reading Psalm 27. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear.. I will be confident, one thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His temple..

Tom calls this a time to hold on to Jesus. The election is one week away and this looks different than any other time in history. Says don’t expect things to be a “normal” election. Sees the world is about to become a place we don’t recognize. Expects chaos to come. 

Jesus told us these things would happen near to the time of the tribulation, and the time of the rapture. Tom says strongly to keep our eyes on Jesus, hold on to Him. Trust in Him completely, He is the only one we can trust.

October 30, 31st Saudi Arabia is to have a high level global meeting of many states for the purpose of a 2 state solution. Addressing the ongoing war in Gaza. Called the Global Alliance, founded by EU and Saudi Arabia. Israel and Palestine will be members and says all UN members are welcome to join the alliance. So far 90 countries are involved. Bubba wonders if this could be the alliance and covenant foundation the antichrist will confirm that divides God’s land. This event has kept pretty quiet. 

Tom says back in the 80’s he was taught we would know when the rapture is soon, its  when there is global chaos against Israel. When seeing that and a war against Israel, keep our eyes on the sky.

Amir says Israel talks of another response to Iran soon. The cabinet met for hours last night. Said they are going to address the attack that was to Netanyahu’s home. IDF says it is ready.

Amir notes Khamenei said he has approved a response against Israel.

Bubba says Iran’s propaganda has an image of Iran using the Hebrew Torah with Deuteronomy 28: 49, which is odd. 

Netanyahu says Iran is striving for a stockpile of nuclear bombs and missiles to destroy Israel. Netanyahu said stopping Iran’s nuclear program is at the top of their minds. 

Israel bans the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees. These were involved in October 7 attack. And when Sinwar was killed an ID from there was found on him. 

Israel expects a new laser system that can interrupt rockets, drones and mortar for little cost to be operational next year. 

Hezbollah has names a  new successor to replace Nasrallah. Tom still wants to call him the “Grand Puba.” Tom says he may be a little “shifty eyed,” nervous about what Israel may do to him, as with the others.

Gospel:

The plan of salvation was set before the world began. God sent His only begotten Son to rescue us from all our sins so we may live with God in heaven forever.

Jesus was the only sacrifice that would be able to remove all sins. He was perfect, without sin and took all sins upon Himself on the cross. He gave His life, His all. Shed His blood that has the power to remove all sins, past, present and future. He rose again and is in heaven preparing a place to take us to be with Him.

Admit of sins and need for a Savior. Believe and receive forgiveness because of His great love for us. 

Will be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit, changed, and rapture ready. 

Time is short, Jesus is coming soon to call His own to be with Him.

Be saved today and with the family of God forever in heaven with Jesus.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;

Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life;

Of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked came against me

To eat up my flesh,

My enemies and foes,

They stumbled and fell.

Though an army may encamp against me,

My heart shall not fear;

Though war may rise against me,

In this I will be confident.

One thing I have desired of the Lord,

That will I seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

All the days of my life,

To behold the beauty of the Lord,

And to inquire in His temple.

For in the time of trouble

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

In the secret place of His tabernacle

He shall hide me;

He shall set me high upon a rock.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;

Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;

I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!

Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

When You said, “Seek My face,”

My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Do not hide Your face from me;

Do not turn Your servant away in anger;

You have been my help;

Do not leave me nor forsake me,

O God of my salvation.

When my father and my mother forsake me,

Then the Lord will take care of me.

Teach me Your way, O Lord,

And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries;

For false witnesses have risen against me,

And such as breathe out violence.

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed

That I would see the goodness of the Lord

In the land of the living.

Wait on the Lord;

Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart;

Wait, I say, on the Lord!
