August 29, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – Hezbollah still shocked, the calm before the storm!

Philippians 4: 6-7 it talks about praising God and trusting Him in the valleys, He leads us through. He gives us peace that passes all understanding. 

Israel News: 

Comments were made that Hezbollah was shocked over what happened with Israel with the weekend attacks. IDF led the preemptive strikes to about 270 strikes to Hezbollah targets. Saying Hezbollah was shocked by the sheer planes deployed at once striking an overwhelming  number of targets in a short time. Says they were also astonished at the precision of the strikes and how Israel managed to accurately hit so many targets. Neutralized their assets without harming civilians or causing collateral damage. Hezbollah admitted to the 4 attacks back to Israel with drones that were intercepted.

Once again Lebanon media reports a large scale Iranian attack against Israel is imminent and expected in the next 48- 72 hours.

Another report from Lebanon media says the Pentagon called a meeting which included some from Lebanon that said Iran’s response may be in 2-3 days but will be limited and not lead to all out war in the region. 

EU says it will consider sanctions on Israel government minister who posted hateful messages against Palestine they say. EU and UN warn Israel against extending the Gaza war into W. Bank. UN leader called for immediate cessation of operations. 

Today IDF captured terror group in Samaria.

Palestinian gunman including a top commander were killed by IDF. Palestinian death toll 17 so far, and no civilians were hurt.

Top Hamas official urges resumption of suicide bombings against Hezbollah. He was the one that thought he would replace the Gaza leader but Sinwar did.

Desperate family members of those still held hostage broke through a fence running through the desert headed to the Gaza Strip, IDF officers pleaded for them to stop and turn back before they were injured. The families did comply. Tom says we can’t imagine how hard it is for these families. This has been going for 10 months. We need to remember to pray for them. 

Netanyahu said the preemptive strike was not the end of the story. Says it will only be when they can return the security and citizens to their homes. 

Israel national news had an interview about Gvir saying he would establish a synagog on the Temple Mount. It was asked if Gvir’s remarks passed the line. The Temple institute founder said the question is, who draws the line for us? Says it is God who draws the line which was set in the Torah and during the return to Zion in the land of Israel and Jerusalem after the 6th day war. 

Tom says all this looks like is we are about to be raptured. It could happen at any time. So ready for it, come get us Jesus. 

Scientists expect the Star of Jacob to appear this month. Says this star will appear 15 times brighter than usual making it the 50th brightest star in the night sky. Says this Nova in the star system called T Corona Borealis may just be the star of Jacob that Balam described as before the appearance of the Messiah. Tom says they say it is their messiah to come but they missed Jesus the first time. 

Japan gives evacuation orders for nearly 1 million in the path of a typhoon. Some say it could be one of the strongest storms to ever hit the region of Japan. Pray for them there.

Comments on the rapture, like Noah never felt a raindrop, Lot never experienced fire and brimstone, we will go Home and see our Savior.

Gospel: Rescue mission. Jesus the Lamb of God came to earth to die, shed His blood to remove all sins so we can be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. The only way to heaven by Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, never sinned.

Sins keep us from going to heaven with a holy God. Admit of being a sinner and need of a Savior. Believe in the One who forgives all sins and receive by faith forgiveness of sins, past, present and future. Will be saved, born again, filled with Holy Spirit and rapture ready. Will be saved and go to heaven with the family of God forever. Be saved today.
