News: UN announces international 2025 peace conference on 2 state solution for June 2-4. For peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine. Says only a 2 state path for lasting  peace in the Middle East. 

They met yesterday with 3 resolutions with broad international support. Saying peace and security will never be achieved by force. One speaker said denying Palestinian statehood has only perpetrated cycles of violence and deeper despair. 

From End Times Headlines: global fury building over Trump’s plan to turn Gaza to Middle East Riviera. European countries joined Arab nations rebuking Trump’s announcement to take over Gaza forcefully and displace its inhabitants to neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt. Trump says US should own Gaza. Many lashed back. 

Germany’s FM said the proposal to move Palestinians is unacceptable and against international law. 

France government spokesperson said Paris is fully opposed to displacement of populations and called Trump’s proposal dangerous for regional stability.

UK PM said Palestinians must be allowed home to rebuild.

Palestinian president Abbas said neither Israel or US have a working plan. The rights of the people should not be infringed upon. 

Hamas and Israel are in talks mediated by Qatar and Egypt backed by US.

J. Post: Trump said no soldiers are needed in Gaza. Said the Gaza Strip would be turned over to the US by Israel at the conclusion of the fighting. Says the Palestinians would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities with new and modern homes in the region.

Israel Today shared a headline: Saudi Arabia doubles down, no normalization with Israel without a Palestinian state. Trump is meeting with them. Will it change things?

WallStreet Journal reports next week Trump plans to meet with Jordan’s president with proposal regarding Jordan. 

Insider Paper: Israel defense minister Katz ordered its army to start making preparations to allow voluntary departures for Gazans from Gaza. Said they could go to any country that will accept them. Katz says Trump’s move is bold. Tom says who will take them? Plus the majority of the people there still support Hamas.

Bubba talks about a meeting in Cairo of Arab league February 1 with Egypt, Jordan, UAE,  Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to reaffirm a 2 state solution and pledge Gaza reconstruction. They say with or without Trump a 2 state plan for a Palestinian territories, Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and dividing Israel. A comprehensive rebuilding plan for Gaza, full support for Palestinian rights and new state for Palestine. More meeting coming. 

Insider Paper:  Iran president said they are not seeking a nuclear weapon. On  Wednesday Trump called for a verified nuclear peace agreement saying Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

Times of Israel: Iran displays Russian made long range air defense systems in an exercise yesterday. 

Trump administration plans to present a plan next week to end Russia, Ukraine war. 

Trump signed an executive order that bans men from playing in women’s sports.
