Tom encourages everyone to take communion with him today. 

Communion – The Last Supper with Jesus and His disciples was just before He went to the cross.  Remembering  the Passover of Israel freed from Egypt that points to the sacrifice of Jesus.  His blood shed, the cup, and the Lamb slain. He was the Lamb of God slain.  When God looks at you and sees Jesus blood because you have faith in the blood that washes away sins, we are saved.  By His stripes we are healed and made worthy only by the blood of the Lamb.

Matthew 26:26-28, Exodus 12:8, Psalms 105:37

Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.  

We can take communion every day. 

“Examine yourself to see if you are worthy” does not mean we have to be worthy and without sin.   Corinthians 11:27-29 describes what that means “in unworthy manner”.  Only by Jesus, nothing in us,  who we look to.

News :  

Israel is preparing to strike Iran nuclear facilities, tensions for a revenge attack and soaring World War 3 fears.  Israel is preparing to strike Iranian nuclear plants if faced with a revenge attack from Iran.  Netanyahu is meeting over fears Iran will launch an assault and Middle East tensions threaten to boil over into all out war.  Now a Western security official has revealed that Israel will respond to any attack by striking Iran’s nuclear targets.  Israel having  secret Air Force drills to prepare.

Tom  says he heard in other places that in the meetings they are saying they will strike Iran even if the proxies strike them.  But some say only if Iran directly strikes.  Galant said any enemy that tries to attack Israel will be met with strong defense.

Wall Street Journal reports Hamas rejects US proposal of Gaza truce and release of hostage and instead put out their own roadmap for ending the war in Gaza.  The earlier one was for a stage deal where Israel would release prisoners for some hostages along with partial troop withdrawals and allow displaced Palestinians across to North Gaza with more hostages to be released later once all troops withdraw.

Amir  says we live in the days of strong delusion and great deception.  Says a good friend from Lebanon wrote him and said “never have I ever thought the Palestinians would be one day able to outsmart the world and trick it to believe their lies.”

We see the world  against Israel.  

Israel Today: From a 3 minute clip. At US Congressionaly hearing yesterday Biden Administration confirms there is no genocide in Gaza.  Senator Tom Cotton said, I want to address what the protestors raised earlier, is Israel committing genocide in Gaza?  Secretary of Defense Loyd Austin said  we don’t have any evidence of genocide.

Tom says Israel drops leaflets and warns the people to get out before they approach and how they can get out.  Not genocide. 

Insider Paper: Blinken says Israel has not shared a date for Rafah operation.  Netanyahu has said he has set a date but didn’t say when.

Last 24 hour earthquakes,  44 over 4.0, 5 over 5.0.

Clown World – 

Companies like Upside and Good Meat have been cleared to sell their cultivated lab meat, “chicken meat”,  animal free meat.  In Singapore instead of a lab grown chicken, their company called Vow calls theirs artificial Japanese quail. Tom says I’ll pass,  I’ll just have a nice glass of water.

Business Insider:  Open AI and Meta are on the verge of releasing AI models capable of reasoning like humans. Shows progress on solving hard problems such as reasoning, but warns developing such technology could put humans at risk of extinction.   Ha!  We are ready for Jesus. His timing is perfect.

Comments – 

Comments of how amazing the eclipse was. God’s wonder of creation.  But how much more we will see when we are with Him. 

Said as the moon passed over the sun, soon all the things of the world will be behind us.

We see so many getting excited about things of the world but not the Lord.  And even in churches are not excited about the Lord.  And He is the only one worthy of our praise.

Gospel:

We need a Savior.  Jesus came to take all the sins by giving His life to die, shed His blood to save us for all our sins. Nothing we can do to save ourselves.  

Grace through faith in Christ.  Ephesians 2:8-9.   Unearned gift

John 6:28-29 Believe in Him who was sent, by faith in Jesus.  Not by works of the law.  Jesus paid it all.

Tell Him you believe and be saved, receive the Holy Spirit, go in the rapture and will go to heaven.

 Don’t reject His gift to forgive sins or will go to hell.

 Be saved today.
