Israel  Today – the hostage release deal approved a 5 day ceasefire in Gaza and Israel will release 150-200 Palestinian security prisoners in exchange for Hamas freeing 50 hostages beginning tomorrow.  The hand ringing consternation and signs of division over the issue is exactly what Hamas envisioned when they abducted 240 people on Oct. 7. Hamas knows the Jewish people well, that they will put aside even the most critical mission to save a handful of lives, But Hamas does not know the God of Israel and ultimately He will prevail.

Also The Qatari FM says this is a phase in a longer a ceasefire that will see additional Israelis freed from captivity in Gaza over the coming weeks and perhaps months if the deal can be extended. Now Israel has entered Hamas’s game. They will tease the release of additional hostages every time IDF is about to resume the war creating internal tension and division in Israel with the goal of extending the truce indefinitely. If Israel falls into this trap Hamas will survive this war and they will retain control of Gaza and will remain a terrorist threat to the citizens of Israel. Tom says yes, and believes US will pressure Israel to go along with this and drags on.

Amir says this ceasefire plan is a major mistake. Last night Israel demonstrated against ceasefire and partial hostage deal. In the opening days of the war Netanyahu vowed no ceasefire without the release of all Israel hostages. Many want to see him stick to that promise.

Tom says after he commented yesterday about the ceasefire the majority of comments were against the ceasefire and hostage release. Tom says if it were our relatives, like his wife or daughters that were hostages we would look at It much differently.  But thinks it is a mistake, Thinks of the saying that says past behavior indicates future  behavior, or future performance. Look at the years of Hamas behavior. They don’t want to live peaceably with Israel. In the past Israel has said they want to live peacefully with Israel and give them land. Then kick their own people out of that land and tell them they can have Gaza Strip. But it’s never enough and  they  want Israel dead, off the face of the map and they say it. Feels it is setting a bad precedent. Is Hamas saying they want to buy more time to regroup and they get more hostages? Israel is negotiating withs terrorists now. Thinks it will lead to more trouble. Thinks after the 5 days there will be more pressure  to stop the war and Hamas goes back to what they were before.

One thing we do know Tom says is the rapture is going to happen.

Israel  Today:  Israel is demanding that Lebanon and the UN finally enforces security resolution that says there be no armed forces in S. Lebanon besides the Lebanese army. No longer tolerate the presence of Hezbollah on its border. They are bombing at the front and it hasn’t even opened yet. They say Hezbollah is 10 times more powerful than Hamas.

Times of Israel. White House says Intel is showing the Wagner group is preparing to arm Hezbollah or Iran. John Kirby says US has identified uptick in cooperation between Iran and Russia against Israel. Says the Wagner group at the direction of Russian government was preparing to provide air defense capability to either Hezbollah or Iran he says.

Tom says he believes what happened Oct 7 and what is happening today leads to the rapture. Out of this war comes the 7 year covenant with many.

Times of Israel- Syrian media reports Israeli airstrikes near Damascus damage unknown yet. Another source said it targeted a hotel with a large number of Iran and Hezbollah militias.

In S. Africa the  Parliament passed a resolution to close the embassy of Israeli government in their country.

N. Korea say the spy satellite was launched successfully.  Insider Paper reports N. Korea said it received images of US  Guam air base from the spy satellite. Tom says they showed pictures of Kim looking at the photos with a big smile on his face. UN condemns that and Tom says no one cares about UN sanctions anymore. We live in Clown world!

Iceland volcano watch. After the earthquakes, authorities report they could have as little as 30 minutes of notice for the volcano.

The Castro dictatorship in Cuba held anti Israel concert for peace for Palestine in support of genocidal Hamas terror  group after Hamas and Jihad slaughtered 250 people at a peace music festival in Israel.

Says is Canadian and  over here they suggest assisted Suicide for not only the sick but to the homeless.  Very disturbing and heart breaking she says.

Says good works are the fruit of salvation not the root of salvation.

Says we have been in the shadow of the tribulation for awhile. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Pray for everyone, pray for Israel at the top of your prayer list, love, be kind, help those who need it, Spread the Good News.

Says Jesus is moving and fast. If these wars bring people to Jesus then it is worth it. I trust Jesus with the outcome.

Tom says it’s all we can do, He’s in control. He loves us.

Says can’t wait to be in heaven. No sin, no pain no worry. Don’t deserve heaven but qualify but only through the precious blood of Christ.

Gospel- yes, it’s all about what He did. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords shed His own blood to save us.

Works are beautiful when they are done from the heart but they don’t save us. He is the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father but by Him.

To remove all sins and we thank Him, Spend eternity with  Jesus when we believe.

Warns. Tom says some say to him, I’m glad this makes you happy, but not for me. They joke and don’t take it serious. Tom warns of hell if reject Jesus to save.

Be saved now.
