NO MORE AID, ELECTRICITY OR WATER TO GAZA

News: over the weekend Netanyahu halted supplies and aid to Gaza following the first phase of the ceasefire. Hamas refused the proposals made, refuses to release hostages or talk. Hamas said it will not return remanding hostages without ending the war. 

Richard Kemp, a military expert from UK said Israel’s decision to block aid is lawful under international law because Hamas seizes the majority of the aid and uses it for its war effort. Hamas said if they don’t get food, the hostages won’t either. Although there is already enough aid there for several months.

US made a sale to Israel for 2 billion worth of 35,529 2,000 pound bombs and 295 million worth shipment of D9 bulldozers to Israel. They use them to demolish buildings that contain explosives. They also say to reduce Gaza to rubble and Gaza people relocating. 

Amir says in the proposal Netanyahu called for the return of 12 living hostages and 18 deceased on the first day even at the cost of extending the truce to 1 1/2 months. 

Amir said after halting the aid Israel plans to cut water and electricity. If that does not work a powerful military operation is expected. These steps were coordinated and approved by the Trump administration. Also approved the call of 400,000 soldiers if and when needed, until May 29. It has not happened but authority has been given. The proposal states 2025 will be designated as a year of war. 

Tom says he heard this morning they cut off water to a part of central Gaza. 

Saudi Arabia condemned Israel’s decision to block aid to Gaza Strip calling it blackmail and that the fragile talks won’t go anywhere. Says it is  against international law. 

Egypt also condemned it, said it was a violation of the ceasefire. That ceasefire that Egypt and Qatar worked out, and they support Hamas.

Egypt set up a meeting of Arab foreign ministers for Monday to Tuesday where the Arab leaders plan to talk on Gaza reconstruction.
