Numbers 6: 24-26 “ The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord shine His face upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” 

We need God’s peace. Jesus is the only place we have peace.

Tom says this year is starting off so grim so tough and sad, hard to bring today’s news. The things he is going to report on next just all happened on Wednesday, new years eve. 

A terror attack in New Orleans. 15 killed and many injured when a man driving a pick up truck ran at high speed through a crowd in Bourbon Street that were there for the New Years celebration. After he drove through the crowd he got out and started shooting. The driver was shot and killed but they think there were at least 4 or 5 others involved. Police identified 3 men and one woman in a photograph that planted explosive devices, pipe bombs and weapons in the truck. The bombs were hidden in coolers and were set to be activated remotely by a control found in the vehicle. Biden spoke last night and said the attacker was inspired by ISIS. There was an ISIS flag in his truck. 

Another incident happened a little while later. A Teslar cyber truck exploded while outside a Trump hotel in Las Vegas that killed at least 1 and injured several others. Biden said it didn’t seem like the 2 incidents were related. But it is discovered this driver and the one in New Orleans served on the same military base. Also both vehicles were rented using the same app. The incident was not due to anything involving the Teslar truck. Rather there were a lot of explosives in the truck that had sophisticated detonation that would be set off by the driver.

Another incident at a nightclub at Queens NY with a mass shooting where 11 were injured, none killed they say. 30 shots were fired and suspects got away. They think it was gang related. 

Also FBI uncovered more than 150 homemade bombs on a farm in Virginia. Authorities found explosives while searching the home of a 36 year old after being tipped off by a neighbor . The person was stockpiling weapons and homemade ammunition. 

Tom reminds us God loves us and protects us, He’s our Shepherd and is coming back very soon.

Also on New Years eve, pictures shown of lightning strikes at the US Capital building, Washington Monument, Empire State Building and some say also the World Trade Center. Tom says it could be a message from God for the US for 2025.

Also at NY Times Square several hundred turned out with anti Israel protests. They carried signs that said, end Zionism, no war on Iran and end all US aid to Israel. Organized by socialist and anti Israel groups and Palestinian youth movement. 

Amir said Israel set a deadline yesterday for Hamas  to release hostages in exchange for imprisoned terrorists within 3 weeks. A senior Hamas official said Netanyahu is demanding the release of all living hostages at once in the first phase of the agreement. 

Hamas leader said there are negotiations on ceasefire in Gaza and say it will be successful.

Amir reports Israel struck in Syria that targeted the  headquarters of a brigade of former Syrian army near Damascus. 

A British son says Basher Assad survived an assassination attempt in Russia. It is said he was attempted  to be poisoned. 

Many earthquakes the last 2 days.

Gospel: time is short, Jesus is coming soon to take all that believe in Him and are saved to go to heaven. Will be taken before the 7 year tribulation is on the earth. 

Believe that Jesus came to earth to die on the cross to take all sins upon Himself in our place so we can be forgiven of every sin, past, present and future forever. He came as the perfect sacrifice that was required because He had no sin, fully God, fully man. Nothing we do or can do, He did it all. Shed His blood on the cross that is powerful enough to take away all our sins. 

Admit of being a sinner and need for a Savior. Tell Him you believe in what He did and receive His forgiveness. Will be saved that instant, born again, receive Holy Spirit and changed, a new creation ready for heaven.

Be saved today, in heaven with Jesus and the family of God forever.
