October 3, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – October Surprise?

Reads Psalm 91, our protector, we don’t need to be afraid. 

Tom asks, will there be an October surprise? Says there could be 10 of them. The war in the Middle East, could God step in and we go in the rapture? That would be a huge surprise! Shock and awe. This world so ready for the 7 year tribulation. The believers in Jesus need to be removed before this begins, in His perfect time. 

News: 

Port strike all up and down the E. Coast,  through Texas. Causing a lot of panic buying. People saying shortages coming.

Israel attack on Russian air base in Syria close to the weapons depot. Large fires. Saying Russia and Syrian army intercepted. Israel has never targeted anything of Russia in Syria before.

Will Israel go after Iran’s nuclear site? US is objecting. Biden Administration urged Israel to avoid Iran’s nuclear facilities. 

Israel could take all of Iran’s oil storage facilities on the Persian Gulf. We know Iran will remain, it is in Ezekiel 38 war.

Tom says things unfold by the hour. As soon as he is finished recording he could add more things, especially as it concerns Israel. 

Amir says IDF special forces are fighting in S. Lebanon and over 50 terrorists killed in several hours. Drones and fighter jets assist from the air. A suburb of Tel Aviv targeted in attacks last night, no injuries reported.

Today is Israel’s Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. And people are in bomb shelters.

Israel ground fights in S. Lebanon killed about 40 terrorists in the past day. About 200 terrorists attacked from the air. Strike this morning in Beirut, 240 rockets from Lebanon to Israel. 

Israel officials say they may conduct strikes in Iran, Syria and Yemen in response to Iran’s missile attack. 

Israel has notified UN that  its response to Iran will be strong and painful.

Today the Israeli military told more then 20 villages in a city in S. Lebanon to evacuate, head north.

Biden and Harris desperate to avoid a major escalation just 1 month before US election.

Reports that Iran’s leader Khamenei will lead Muslim prayer in Tehran  marking the out break of Al-Aqsa flood war October 7. And commemorating the death of Hezbollah’s leader Nasrallah. Says it is surprising as Khamenei is known to be paranoid and knows Israel intends to respond to Iran’s  recent missile attack. Also they say Nasrallah’s funeral is tomorrow. 

Tom reminds us we trust in Jesus and He loves us and is coming soon. 

Reports of massive solar flare and expects a geomagnetic storm this week. 

US government came out and said no funds, no money for Fema if another hurricane comes. They say with hurricane Helene they only offer 750 dollars to the people, even the ones that have lost everything. While US still gives billons to Ukraine and other places. The secretary of homeland security actually said these extreme weather events are increasing in frequency and severity.

Drone footage shows Chimney Rock  N. Carolina destroyed by massive flooding. 14 inches of rain. A river overflowed destroying the community of 125 people. 

They call it a post apocalyptic scene in N. Carolina as communities are wiped off the map. Hundreds of roads destroyed. Tom says he gets emails and it is worse than we could ever think. Not much help from the government. 

They say the comet of the century is flying through the sky as the Middle East war explodes. Says war has exploded as the comet of the century is flying past the earth. Seems to show something.

A.I.:

Microsoft strikes  a deal to restart old, unused nuclear reactor to power A.I. at 3 mile Island facility in Pennsylvania. It was the site of the worst nuclear accident on US soil that occurred in 1979. Another one is also being brought out of retirement in Michigan. It was shut down in 2022 and set to reopen late 2025. Tom says, ramping up old nuclear power plants to power A.I. what could be wrong with that?!

Gospel:

Jesus paid the price for our salvation. Nothing we do or can do, He did it all. A perfect sacrifice required, Jesus the perfect Lamb of God, no sin. He died, shed His blood to remove all our sins. Must admit of sin and need for a Savior and believe in what He did. A free gift. Saved from all sins. Will be saved, born again, changed, receive Holy Spirit and rapture ready. Will be in the immediate family of God forever. Will not be here for the 7 year tribulation but in heaven with Jesus forever.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

And from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers,

And under His wings you shall take refuge;

His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,

Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

And ten thousand at your right hand;

But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look,

And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,

Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,

The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him My salvation.”
