Tom makes note that ever since the April 8 eclipse the world changed.  Going home soon.  Looking at just 5 months until the election, continues to think there will not be a normal election.  Let’s go home!

News –

Tom comments Biden did give a little speech yesterday.  Turning backs on Israel even more, says watch the weather!

Wall Street Journal – Biden urges Israel and Hamas to accept ceasefire proposal.  Israel families of hostages accuse Israel of giving up on the hostages and making the destruction of Hamas its priority.  In his speech Biden said Israel offered a new proposal which has been submitted by Qatar to Hamas calling it a roadmap to enduring ceasefire and release of all hostage.  Quotes, “It’s time for this war to end and for the day after to begin.”

Tom said it wasn’t the Israeli government that made the proposal rather others, like Lapid and opposition leader.  Biden talks about the proposal, 3 phases.  

1. Complete ceasefire, withdraw from populated areas in Gaza, release of some hostages and some remains of hostages.  Palestinians can return to their homes in Gaza.  Surge in humanitarian aid.  

2. A permanent end of ceasefire.  Exchange release of remaining living hostages.  Israeli force withdraw from Gaza.

3. Major reconstruction plan for Gaza.  Final remains of hostages returned to their families.

Tom says calling for the  reconstruction of Gaza before the final remains are returned, terrible. 

Lapid  opposition leader urges Netanyahu to heed Biden’s call for a truce under which Hamas would free hostages.  Called Biden’s speech significant and that there is a deal on the table and it needs to be done. Says do this even if it causes his government leaders to leave.  

Israel Today – Israel says it sees Biden’s proposal for ending the war in Gaza as a problem.  Leaves Hamas in a position of control of Gaza.  A naive plan, to get Biden re-elected.

Amir says Hamas said back  they welcome and view positively Biden’s proposal and said they will work together.  Say it was a positive offer and the opposition stood as heroes  in face of all of Israels military pressure.

More positive, from a May 2024 poll taken, it showed over 70% of Americans say US should continue supporting Israel in this war.  Only 1/4 of Americans think US should pause its support for Israel until a ceasefire is secured.

Times of Israel – Netanyahu says no permanent ceasefire until Hamas is destroyed.  He said that in a rare English only speaking statement published on the Sabbath after Biden had talked about the 3 phase deal he said Israel proposed.

IDF continues to go into central Rafah, soldiers and tanks.  Uncovered rocket launchers, tunnel shafts and dismantled Hamas weapon storage facility.

Hezbollah launching high explosive missiles.    Israel launches attacks on several towns and villages in Lebanon.  War in Russia and Ukraine picking up.  Russia’s missiles and drones target Ukraine’s energy sites. Russia fired 100 missiles and drones at Ukraine overnight.  Ukraine faces energy shortages, attempt to repel waves of drones and missiles, 57 missiles and 47 attack drones.

Bloomberg – Ukraine is running short of people.  Millions have either fled the country, joined the army or fallen in battle.  Economy weakened by shrinking work force. 

Tom says pray for our friends in Russia and Ukraine, Come and get us Lord, we’re ready.

Amir – a major escalation of the war in Europe.  More and more countries are allowing Ukraine to use the weapons they provided to attack military targets deep in Russia, including F16 fighter jets.   Says in the last 24 hours, USA, Germany, Great Britain, France, Netherlands, Denmark and many more have approved. How will Putin react?  He has already threatened a nuclear response. 

Tom said his Pastor called him yesterday about this  because Putin keeps warning don’t let NATO arms in Russia or will use nukes.  And they are doing it, asks are they are begging for nuclear war?  WW3.  Tom replies, close to Jesus getting us.  May was crazy, June the same. But we belong to Jesus.  

AP -a  change in Africa after voting.  Losing the current form of government.  Tom says pray for that country, the  people going through so much.

At least 50 deaths blamed on India heat wave in less that a week.  Up to 122 degrees.

Earthquakes.  6.2 Prince Edwards Island.   Last 24 hours, 52 over 4.0, 13 over 5.0, and 2 over 6.0.

Planet parade in the sky, appear to align on Monday.  6 planets, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Mars, Neptune and Saturn.

Clown World – 

New York Post.  Oh boy, a start-up system says they have created AI head transplant.  Called brain bridge. AI mechanized system.  Graft a head onto a body of a brain dead donor maintaining  the parts of the donor for memories and thinking.  That’s extreme clown world. 

Comments –

Said she was saved 3 years ago at age of 74.  Says she was in churches all her life that didn’t believe in the rapture.  Says her granddaughter’s husband opened her eyes and so thankful.  Looking up every day for Jesus to come take us Home.

Said sees lately how nothing is normal anymore.  Almost impossible for people to live normal human lives as God intended anymore.  Ultra modern technology, post truth, AI synthetic world turned everything upside down.

Tom says even people that don’t believe in God or prophecy wonder what is going on.  

Says excited to be a part of a world where Jesus rules.  No more sin, anger, violence and have a Leader who is perfect in every way.

What did we expect the last days to look like?  Not this.  Losing this country to pure evil insanity.  Jesus, the only One we can trust.  What a glorious day it will be when He comes.

Tom says nothing shocks us anymore it seems.

Gospel 

The only thing that really matters.  The salvation message.  Jesus paid for all sins with His blood.  Believe in what He did.  Perfect, fully God, fully man, perfect sacrifice.  Saved by grace, unearned gift from God by faith in believing in Jesus finished work. 

The cross, death, burial and resurrection.  Admit of sins, have faith that He removes sins.  Confess and believe and be saved, born again, receive His Holy Spirit.  Rapture ready,  go up to Jesus. 

Jesus the Creator of all things did all this for us.  Because He loves us.  We thank and praise Him for eternity.

Warns, don’t reject.  Will still be with sin and can’t go to heaven, but hell. 

Be saved today, forever.
