NOTES: Trouble in the Middle East, watch the Weather

Another great day the Lord has made for us, we are one day closer to the pre-tribulation rapture of the church.  On the cusp,  the very last days.

Tom reads Psalm 91, a beautiful Psalm.

Tom reads a very touching email sent to him yesterday of God’s beautiful love.  

Dennis and Emily.  Dennis writes that he is 99 years old. Says  9 Years ago a new couple moved across from him. Shortly after they moved in a man came out and shouted, “its a girl!” and attached 2 pink balloons to his mailbox and yells “thank you Jesus!”  Over the next 9 years they have become friends and he watched the little girl Emily, grow up.   Last week she came over to talk to him on his front porch.  She asked if he wanted to meet her friend Tom and she pulls her tablet out of her backpack. They watch Tom together. When Tom said he is old, she jokes  and says to him, you are older! Then again yesterday she did the same thing and they  watched Tom.  At the end of the video he noticed she was crying. 

She said because he has been her friend her entire life and soon we won’t be friends anymore, because you don’t know Jesus like I do, you haven’t been saved.  Dennis said they had talked about that before and many others have tried to convince him of Jesus but was too stubborn or stupid to listen.  This time he could feel the hurt in her heart.  As he listened to Tom and Emily he heard the Holy Spirit for the first time in his life. He  asked Emily to help him kneel down. Says  that tiny 57 lb little girl practically picked him up front his chair herself.  She practically screamed at the top of her lungs, “thank you Jesus!” and they knelt together and he committed himself to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Her parents rushed out to see what was going on and she told them to kneel down,  he just got saved!  With hugs and tears Emily handed him her Bible to use until he got his own for his birthday, April 16.  She made it clear today, he became a born again Christian.

He writes to Tom that before he lived alone with no loving family, until today.  Says to Tom please don’t stop what you are doing.  From 9 to 99 reaching people.  Thankful!  

Tom says it’s never too late.  Time is short.  We are close to the rapture. A  powerful testimony of Jesus working in our lives in any age. God uses the little children! 

News – 

AP – UN will vote on US resolution declaring that immediate ceasefire in Gaza is imperative, to protect civilians and enable humanitarian aid to be delivered to more than 2 million hungry Palestinians it said.

Tom says Israel has delivered 218,000 tons of food since this began. 

US ambassador said she was optimistic the new tougher draft resolution would be approved by the 15 member council. Calls for immediate and sustained ceasefire with no direct link to the release of hostages.  But that it would support diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire with release of all remaining hostages.

Russia’s Deputy UN Ambassador said Moscow would only accept  an immediate ceasefire.  Said it’s what US Secretary of State Blinken is pressing for and everyone wants.  

Tom says the  US is putting more and more pressure day by day to not finish this job of eliminating Hamas who terrorized them October 7. Says, watch the weather as every time something happens with Israel, some big event happens with the weather.

Times of Israel: A senior Israeli official said Israel will enter Rafah even if the entire world turns on us including the US. The area is packed with more than 1 million Palestinians that were displace from elsewhere. And  has one fourth  of the groups fighters.

Netanyahu promises to get them out and give them aid.  Says top Israeli aids are going to the White House in the coming days to discuss this.  

Jerusalem Post:  Hezbollah ramps up terrorists activity in Beruit  it is  reported.  Tom thinks this is getting ready to explode and we may get raptured before that.  

This weekend is Purim for Israel.  Israel increases security to protect there.  Says thousands of police deployed, mostly around Jerusalem.   Overlap of Ramadan and Purin, focusing on security over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

More were found and captured in Shifa Hospital.  High ranking Hamas members are being interrogated to give important intelligence information.  Also Islamic Jihad commanders were captured and most of them in North Gaza were killed or surrendered.  In the past 4 days since Israel has gone in, over 500 terrorists have been captured.  Many surrendered and terrorists are still barricaded in an emergency room.  They say fighting at the hospital will continue for days.  Tom says 640 terrorists in “ a hospital”?  Won’t hear the truth on the media.

Last 24 hours in Ukraine.  Missile strikes in multiple major cities.  One of the biggest aerial bombardments of the whole war.  Targeting power grids, communications and air defense.

Insider Paper – Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with over 90 missiles and 60 Iranian made drones.

This morning reported that 700,000 residents in Ukraine are stranded and without water after 17 Russian missiles and fires break out in many places.  We need to pray for them.

Taiwan admits US troops are now stationed on islands off the coast of China amid fears the region will spark WW3.

Tom reminds, what are we hearing, we won’t be here for as it will be during  the 7 year tribulation and believers will be raptured before that.  Looking up, waiting for Jesus, our hope is in Jesus.  Need not fear when we  belong to Jesus. He has all of it and He must be really excited, probably more than we are for the rapture for us to be together.

6.4 earthquake in Indonesia. Last 24 hours earthquakes, 42 over 4.0. 7 over 5.0. 1 over 6.0. 

Newsweek:  Leprosy is spreading in Florida according to the World Health Organization.  About 200,000 cases occur every year in 120 countries worldwide, often in association of contact with armadillos, but not always.  159 new cases last year in the US.  Tom says shadows of the tribulation.

Instagram world wide outage yesterday reported, people locked out.

South Africa water crisis in Johannesburg, collapse of its water system affecting millions.  Hot weather has shrunk reservoirs and neglect of infrastructures.  Tom says  people in South Africa have been going through a lot, very poor leadership.

Clown World – 

AI “influencers,” some by teens are made up with the intent to influence and are going all over social media.  Creations of 1337, a company that designs and operates AI.  One example is this.  Agnes, a be-speckled 20 year old poet likes Tarot cards and late night philosophical debates.  She has a crush on Finn, a 22 year old farmer who knits in his free time.  Finn’s friend Jade, 22 also lives in the country side where she forages for mushrooms and bakes bread.  The 3 are “influencers” who frequently post selfies and live updates, but none of them actually exist.

Tom says please come back Jesus, we are so ready.

Testimony and Comments –

Sometimes tragedy can shake us out of a place where we were without God and we see Him and saves us.  There may be regrets.  Giving those to the Lord, He hears and heals, restores.  Give Him all the glory and thanks.  Looking to that day of being with Him.

Reads Romans 5:19,  what Jesus did.

Talked of remembering receiving a Gideons New Testament and how it planted seeds for later.  It was when prayers were still allowed in schools in the 1950’s and received one there. The  10 commandments were on all the walls. Prayers were allowed and children would remember that.

The Bible says the world will  wax worse and worse and we are watching it unfold now.  Waiting for the rapture.

Gospel –

The plan of salvation 2,000 years ago when Jesus left heaven to come for the purpose to give His life to remove all sins.  The only way to remove sins, John 3:16.  Given for us, only need to believe and receive.  Will be saved, born again, rapture ready, sealed forever.  Incredible future and being part of the immediate family of God for eternity.

Pleads, don’t refuse what He has done for you.  Without His forgiveness will go to hell, a place that was created for Satan and his angels.

Be saved today.  Romans 10:9-10.
