January 7, 2025 – 2025 Will Be The Year of TURMOIL! but God…

Psalm 91: 1-2. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him will I trust. 

Tom says this world is in a lot of trouble, but God. Because we belong to Jesus.

Iran’s policy in Syria is bringing Turkey and Israel closer to a confrontation. The 2 countries are more at odds with each other with the potential to develop to an armed confrontation. 

On Wednesday tens of thousands of people demonstrated against Israel in Istanbul Turkey. Alining themselves with Palestinians in Gaza. Turkey’s president Erdogan has anti sentiment for years. Erdogan talked about how peace and stability will return to Gaza and  Palestine will be established  within the 1967 borders. 

Amir talks of terrible videos of the new regime in Syria conducting  brutal raids in Syrian towns and villages. Executing people,, indiscriminate killings and persecuting of Christians. Tom says he has seen some and it is very awful. Yet world leaders are meeting with the leader as if nothing is happening. 

Amir said yesterday in a Christian neighborhood in Damascus there was a parade of Islamists in cars and horseback waving Al Qaeda flags. The message was clear, get out of here or we will slaughter you. Dark and terrible things are happening there in what appears to be the first Islamic state in the Middle East. Amir says and this state lies on Israel’s border. 

Tom says it’s bad in the Middle East, on the brink of something bad. But we know as in the days of Noah, there has to be a sense of normal life. 

Russia and Iran talk of a plan of partnership towards supporting Iran’s proxies. A renegotiated defense treaty is likely to result in Hamas and Hezbollah and Iran backed militias being involved. Tom says we need to pray for the people. 

Amir says reports are that Iran has started air maneuvers to protect its nuclear sites. Tom says there are very serious things going on, pay attention. Looks like something may happen between Iran and Israel in the next 2 weeks. Maybe Israel going after Iran’s nuclear facility. The rapture is close. 

Israel’s president Herzog said there are now intense and difficult hostage negotiations. Say better not interfere with. Says we will only pray, support, cry out and act in every way so they complete the mission. 

Amir says Hamas hasn’t fooled anyone. They haven’t moved an inch away from the original demands. Senior Hamas official said they insist on a complete end to fighting, full withdraw from Gaza Strip, and reconstruction of the strip without Israel’s conditions. 

Reports that Israel is planning to locally produce heavy bombs reducing alliance  on the US. Remembering late spring when the US held up a shipment of heavy bombs. Since the beginning of the war Israel Air Force has launched over 83,000 munitions and air strikes. 

UN relief workers meet repeatedly with Hamas and Jihad leaders. Allow terrorists to exert  signifiant influence on key decisions. This organization employs 30,000 people and annual budget of 1.5 billion. Many countries send them a lot of money.

N. Korea launched its latest hypersonic missile on January 6. He said it’s for self defense not offensive. Said it can penetrate any defense system in the world and exceed the speed of sound 12 times. Tom says, can we really believe it though?

N. Korean leader banned eating hot dogs.  According to Japan he has banned hot dogs as part of a larger crackdown on Western culture and its influence. He saw hot dogs in S. Korea as a symbol of the West. Said eating sausage as an act of treason.

Canada Prime Minister Trudeau announced yesterday he resigned. Said he would leave as soon as they found a replacement. 

In Haita over 5,600 people have died from gangs. Over 1,000 more than in 2023 the UN said. Thousands were kidnapped or injured. Violent gangs control most of the capital of Porta Prince. Tom says a lot of believers thee, pray for them. 

7.2 earthquake in China killed 95. Tremors felt in Nepal India. Many buildings collapsed. 

Earthquake in Iran not far from the nuclear facility. 5.3 on the  scale. Some say they may have tested a bomb. 

Terrible storms across the US. At least 4 people died in multiple states from the winter weather. Alerts for 62 million people. From Illinois to S. New Jersey. Nearly 18 inches of snow in Central Kansas. Upstate New York had over 6 feet of snow.

Gospel: time is short.  Know Jesus and receive salvation. Each of us has a choice. The only decision in life it affects a life forever. 

Tom warns do not reject Jesus or will spend eternity in hell.

Jesus came to earth to die for all our sins because He loves us. He was perfect, fully God, fully man, never sinned. He died, shed His blood to rescue us from sin. 

We all sin. Admit of bring a sinner in need of a Savior. Believe in faith in what He did and receive His forgiveness. Will be saved, born again, receive Holy Spirit, changed a new creation. Jesus said, I make all things new. 

Be saved today. Will not be on earth during the 7 year tribulation. Will be in heaven with Jesus and the family of God forever.
