April 16, 2024 – Watchman River Tom – The World is Bracing for??

The Lord has given us another good day to serve Him, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Tom says the world is bracing for something.  Israel has become a cup of trembling for all nations.  Ready for the rapture.

Scripture:

Luke 9:23-24 – take up your cross and follow me.  Tom says a cross is something to die on, Jesus brought some new teaching.  If you want your life you will lose it, the more you give away yourself, the more richer your life will be.  The more you let go of yourself the more joy and peace you will have.  Take up our cross and follow Him was not to discourage or torment us but set us free.  We take our eyes off ourself, help others in love because Jesus died for our sins. Pray for others, serve others.  When we die to ourself we are free in Jesus.  The key word – daily.  Not  a huge expectation,  just in the day.  Time is only here on earth, not in heaven.  We can call heaven the perpetual state of now. As thy day so shall thy strength be.  God gives us enough strength for today.    Live for Him today.

News – Seeing Israel on the top headlines of the world shows God’s word.

Tom shows some of the different point of view of what is being said about Israel and Iran and retaliation.

Times of Israel – US is saying because the attack was less serious that Israel won’t attack Iran directly but through the proxies and more limited.  Also saying Iran has alarm and fear of attack for economic, social and political control.  They say if Israel attacks they will return more attacks.  The Iranian people do not want a war.  Tom says  pray for the people.

Israel Today gives another view. Say  Biden is content to mock Iran over it’s failed attack on Israel, does not want to see any response by IDF.  America saying given US position sees Israel striking Iran’s proxies. They  say Israel has pushed over 100,000 Israelis out of their homes and kept them displaced for half a year.  Says it does not look good for Israel and it encourages her enemies to be more aggressive.  

Insider Paper says Iran has closed nuclear facilities anticipating Israel attack.

Amir said  residents in Western Iran are experiencing internet and GPS disruption.  Netanyahu is declining phone calls from several foreign leaders to avoid pressure on Israel to not strike Iran.

Times of Israel  and All Israel News say unofficial report that Israel’s war cabinet has made the decision to clearly and forcefully strike.  

Daily Mail – Israel top general says Iran will see a response despite Western calls for calm.  Still considering what response.

Amir says US Air Force last night on maximum alert on all bases in the Middle East.  Said Iranian militias in Eastern Syria have completed evacuation of all their headquarters, expecting Israel to attack.

Amir said Israel is aware there is a vast difference between the people and the regime in Iran.  Amir calls upon the people of Iran to get food, water and gasoline.  Telling the regime to prepare for a massive strike.  Also comments that Putin spoke on the phone with Iran’s President.  Says Putin is involved.   

Tom’s view is in between those that think it will be minimal and those think its drastic.  We see with Ezekiel 38, after the rapture, that Iran is major with the attack against Israel.  But feels there will be an attack, then they say peace and safety.  Thinks Psalms 83 war is taking place and the rapture is going to be before the major war.  Say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction, believes are not here for that.

Yesterday was stop the world for Gaza day.  Videos where people were causing problems, stopping traffic, stopped Golden Gate Bridge traffic in California for about 5 hours.  Claiming unity with Hamas and Palestinians.  Tom says troubling times.  Waiting for Jesus.  He says  don’t worry.

A fire at a US ammunition factory in Scranton Pennsylvania.  It has been producing artillery shells for Ukraine.

Much flooding in UAE, Dubai.

Past 24 hour earthquakes – 26 over 4.0, 3 over 5.0

Insider Paper – A massive fire at Copenhagen’s historic stock exchange.  A lot of original old Danish paintings and destruction.

Business Insider – squatters have taken over a restaurant in London.  Reported the group had locked themselves inside, boarded up the windows and threatened legal action if anyone attempted to remove them  Tom says this lawlessness is happening all over the world.  In some places some people have a 2nd home and a squatter takes over and even some homeowners lose court cases.

Says when studied the book of Revelation in 2006 realized this is where we are.  Gave her life to Him then.

Israel’s God’s name is I AM, not I was or I might be, but I AM.  He is in control always.

Became saved by an online Pastor that said read John.  He watched more YouTube pastor’s teachings and became saved.  With a contrite and repentant heart gave himself to Jesus fully.  Unconditionally, begging for forgiveness I didn’t deserve.  Realized he had strayed from God, not God from him.  Asked Holy Spirit to dwell and Jesus came in such power, life giving love.  Says he loves me and corrects me because I am part of His church body forever.   

Tom thinks as we get closer and closer, more people are asking question. The final harvest. They may see this more dangerous lead up than WW2. Many countries have nukes and they are all threatening them. All world leaders seem onboard with something nefarious. People have fears and my look to Jesus. 

Gospel:

We can tell them the Good News. Something happened that affects today, happened 2,000 years ago. As

powerful  today as 2,000 years ago. God sent His Son to earth to die to the sons of mankind with His blood. 

The reason He came Fully God, fully man, the perfect sacrifice, fulfilled the Law. Died, buried and rose again

 the 3rd day. 

  Tell Him you believe in what He did to save us. Be saved, receive Holy Spirit, born again, rapture ready. Will 

  go to heaven forever. 

  Warns if reject what He did will not have sins forgiven and will go to hell, without Him. 

 Be saved today!
