Watchman River Tom – April 15, 2024.  The Middle East is Ticking!

Tom says the Middle East is  a ticking time bomb. Going to talk about that today.  But first and most important are the Scriptures. 

Scriptures about strength. 

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not for I am with you, nor be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, help you, uphold you with My righteous right hand.  And Isaiah 40:31. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.

Also Psalms 73:26 Tom says all we need is Jesus, the only One.  Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me.  Isaiah 40:29 – He gives strength.  2 Corinthians 12:10, Psalms 18:1-2 – I love you oh Lord my strength, He is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my strength in whom I will trust, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Tom says as watching this since October 7 thinks  this war leads to the rapture, that’s how far into the end times we are.  This on April 14 was another major turning point,  major escalation. 

Tom  gives his thoughts on how this could go.  Israel could retaliate to a degree and set off chaos. That being the point we hear “peace and safety.”  God steps in and sudden destruction comes but we are raptured before the sudden destruction.  This could happen today, or take months.  Looking up every day.  We are waiting and watching. 

Summary of recent events.

Iran launches about 300 plus ballistic missiles, unmanned drones, launched from Iran, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

Israeli fighter jets, F35’s, F16’s were intercepting along with the Iron Dome.  Nothing got to Israel.  They say it was a weak response.  Tom looks at it as the hand of God.

Comments and headlines from last the 24-36 hours.

Israel Today – Hundreds of drones and missiles were fired by Iran last night but Israeli cities are not burning, the hospitals are not packed with the wounded, the targeted IDF bases are still fully operational, Iran failed.  Now it’s their turn to worry they say.   

Amir  said Iran knew the US would protect them and try to prevent Israel from attacking back.  That is exactly why they were bold enough to attack to begin with.  Say it is clear this morning the Iranian attack was coordinated with the American Administration.  It is likely the Iranians gave a warning that they were going to attack and the US assured them they will not allow an Israeli response.  The Biden Administration in the most monstrous way continues to see Iran as an asset with which agreements must be reached.

Bubba News – Word is Israel appears to be preparing an extremely large attack against Iran in the near future. According to internal events it will be an absolutely devastating blow.  Unlike the almost 3 weeks of warning the IDF gave in Gaza we will probably only know about the Israeli attack of the  Islamic regime of Iran after it happens. Probably no warnings with the attack on Iran as the IDF won’t give a warning this time.  It will be a surprise.

Times of Israel – Senior Israel official says Iran failed, now its their turn to go sleepless.

JNS- Biden tells Netanyahu Israel should see self defense as a win.  US won’t join an attack on Iran.  Biden told Netanyahu Israel should see its defense against Iran’s attack as a win and Washington wouldn’t participate in an attack on Iran.  Also it is said Biden fears Netanyahu will act in a way that drags the US into a regional conflict.  Iran thought it could do this attack without consequences.

Insider Paper – US rules out joining Israeli attack on Iran.  John Kirby, White House National  Security said it is not looking for a wider war with Iran, or see it escalate.  

Daily Mail – Biden warns Netanyahu US will not support Israel counterattack on Iran amid fears of all out war.  He told Netanyahu if they had a win, take the win.  In other words, just stop now.

Bubba News says we see things getting closer to the rapture, the picture is getting clearer and we get closer to the end.  We have some crazy weeks coming up.

This morning  Iran urges the West to appreciate restraint towards Israel.   Said instead of making accusations against Iran, western countries should blame themselves and answer to the  public opinion of the measures they have taken against the war crimes committed by Israel in its war against Tehran backed Hamas and Gaza.  

JNS, from Reuters – Israel war cabinet favors retaliation to Iranian attacks.  To the first ever Iran attack but divided on scope and timing of response.  No final decisions were made. To have another meeting today.  Also, it’s said Iran threatens a larger attack if Israel retaliates.  Also Tehran warned the US it would be targeted should it provide assistance.

All Israel News – how will Israel retaliate against Iran?  First something stinging and immediate, but more symbolic. With Gantz saying Iran will get an exact response.  It may do something major, such as take out one of the nuclear plants as it did in Iraq in 1981.  Or another assassination of top Iranian leader.

RT  says the Middle East is on the verge of a full scale war according to the UN. The Secretary of the UN general says the Middle East is on the brink of a devastating war.  Condemns the bombing.   

Tom says come Lord get us, we’re ready, it’s close!

Daily Mail – Israel war cabinet considers whether to go big against Iran, despite World War 3 fears.  Pressures Netanyahu to conduct powerful attacks.

Times of Israel – this morning, European allies urge Israel against military response to Iran as war cabinet meets. United Kingdom, France and Germany urged Israel not to retaliate against Iran.  Warning Netanyahu response could send Middle East spiraling into all out war.

That’s what we are reading as of now.  Tom says,  ready to go Home.

Regarding the bridge collapse of Francis Scott Key bridge, it is now saying that FBI opens a criminal probe.  To look into whether the crew left Baltimore knowing the 985 ft vessel had serious problems.

Tragic incident at a church service in Australia. At an Assyrian Church a Bishop was stabbed, attacked.  The people in the church caught him and chaos occurs.  Tom says so much violence.

Last 48 hour earthquakes – 74 over 4.0, 7 over 5.0, 1 over 6.0.

Ghost town – Office buildings in New York City set a record for emptiness.  Between rising crime, high taxes and crazy rules of pandemic a few years ago, people fled the city in urge numbers.

Tom says they are fairly close, just a few hours from New York City, doesn’t ever go there, its bad there.

Clown World – 

Business Insider – AI could split workers into 2, the ones whose jobs get better and the ones who loose their jobs completely.  Says AI is likely to impact millions of jobs in the years to come.  Unknown what jobs would have a positive or negative effect.  Tom says Ai  came on so quickly in 2023, part of the antichrist coming system.  

Clown World – Hears a restaurant is using ground Mescal cured agave worm for seasoning. 

Tom  says he remembers years ago his mom saying that in chocolate there may be some pieces of bugs from the factory.  Not much and an inspector would make sure but now it can be a main ingredient!  Tom says I’ll just take water!

Comments – 

Troubled on every side but not in distress, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed.  The tests and trials are raising high but we rejoice in tribulation and know our redemption draws near. Keep our eyes on our blessed hope.

Saved from a Gospel track  at 19, now is 71 and gives out Bible tracts.  

Says if you hear Jesus knocking on the door of your heart open it so He can dwell.  Challenges to give Jesus a chance. Hope is alive.

Gospel –

Without Jesus, there is no hope in the future. His Word tells us all about it.  He calls the believers, that have His Holy Spirit, the Church. 

Don’t give excuses.  If don’t receive Him soon will regret it, won’t go to heaven but hell. 

Know about what Jesus did by coming to earth to die for all sins for all time.  All we are to do is to receive by faith in what He did.

Be saved, born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, rapture ready, with Him forever.   Choose Him, Be saved today.
