Another great day the Lord has made for us as we await the pre-tribulation rapture.

Scriptures about worry.  Peace and calm only God’s Word provides.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.  

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Matthew 6:34 – Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Tom says as thy day so shall thy strength be, for the day.  Don’t worry about tomorrow.

News:

Last night Israel attacked a military base in Iran. They  didn’t go after nuclear sites or bases.

Tom says  limited but important strike, an escalation in Bible prophecy.

Tom believes this war leads to the rapture.  The war that leads to cries for peace and safety, then sudden destruction. Tom says we are  out of here soon.

Headlines and comments –

Israel Today – Israeli strike on military air base in Isfahan, Iran. Where their older F -14 fighter jets are based. Next to the nuclear facilities.   Tom says this was during the time where most Iranians and Israelis were sleeping.  The Iran leaders and military were scared.  Iran air defenses were activated all over the country and all the locations of nuclear facilities were ready.  But the Israeli attack was limited.   Israeli officials were instructed not to speak to the media or of the expected Iranian response.

Another article says Iran is saying it is not sure who was behind the attack. 

It shows whoever did the strike can reach the spot they want and will not hesitate to do so.

Tom says that showed a victory for Israel that they got through their defenses.   When Iran came after Israel everything got knocked out of the sky and they saw the Iron Dome and defenses at work.  Now Israel says they are planning to go to Rafah.

Daily Mail – Middle East expert asks where will the Israeli, Iran conflict blow up next?  The Red Sea, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon could all become future battlegrounds.  Israel’s going into Iran defied Biden’s warning not to go into Iran.  The troubled region going into  further conflict.

Amir says Israel has no problem attacking deep inside Iran.  The psychological barrier is lifted.  Israel now knows Iran’s attack and defense capability is largely limited.  Iran will have to wait for Russia for the next attack.

Tom  refers to Ezekiel 38, after the rapture.  Psalms 83 now.

International atomic energy saying no damage to nuclear sites.

Washington Post said Israel’s attack on Iran was intended to signal to Iran that Israel has the ability to attack its nuclear facilities.

Amir says  US media confirms Israel informed the US in advance of the intention to attack Iran.  Fox News said US was not involved in the attack.  Very significant damage at the Air Force base.  

Iran is trying to broadcast business as usual and saying no damage to the sites on the ground.

Amir summarizes the events.  Said Israel carried a limited attack on Iranian bases from where the Saturday night missiles and drones were launched.  The damage is heavy but hard to see from the ground by civilians.  The only reason anyone knows about them was because of the loud explosions from the air defense systems.  Israel sent a message that they are able to attack and hit hard. Israel saying  if you will retaliate your nuclear sites are next.  The scale of this attack trapped the Iranians.  They can’t attack back and they can’t even use Hezbollah to strike hard or they will lose them.  While all eyes are on Iran the Israeli military is prepared to begin a powerful ground maneuver into Rafah.

Tom  says with the attacks Iranians reported earthquakes right before and right after the time of the attack.  

Iranian officials told Reuters later no plan for an immediate response.  Said not clear who is behind the attack because Israel has not taken credit for the attack. 

Oman Jordan condemns the attack.

When it first started Iran said they would target Israel’s nuclear sites with a counterattack.

Insider Paper – Israel will not accept responsibility for attack on Iran.  Strategic reasons.

Jerusalem Post says  not clear why the Pentagon leaked the information of the attack to America.

Israel attacked Iran on the supreme leaders birthday, April 19,1939.

It’s like  Israel lit a candle on the proverbial terror cake – happy birthday to you.

Insider Paper – The G-7 asks all parties to prevent further Middle East escalation.

Russia told Israel Iran does not want escalation.

Bubba News – with that going on, the same time it continues to heat up on the northern border and Hezbollah.

US vetoed UN Security Council decision to accept Palestine to UN.  12 countries voted in favor.  2 countries abstained and US officially vetoed .  Those in favor – Slovenian, Sierra Leon, Russia, South Korea, Mozambique, Japan, Guyana, France, Ecuador, China, Algeria.  Great Britain and Switzerland abstained.  

US Secretary of State Blinken was speaking on the ceasefire and says Hamas has rejected generous proposals from Israel.

Severe weather claims 141 lives in Pakistan, Afghanistan with severe flooding.

A 4.3 earthquake in S. California yesterday.   

Last 24 hours earthquakes,  56 over 4.0. and 9 over 5.0.

Clown World –

Japanese AI tool predicts when recruits will quit jobs.  Bosses worried about turnover or how long a new hire will stick around can now turn to AI to get a heads up.  Tom says they can’t use own intelligence.

Another headline: LA is using AI in a pilot program to try to predict homelessness and allocate aid.  Tom says, people can’t do this?  Crazy.

Comments:

Says Jesus saved her from religion, to a relationship.

Despite losses of family members and rejection because of his faith, as baptized in the Holy Spirit Jesus has delivered him of the sorrow.  Gave him a purpose to minister to others by spreading God’s beautiful Word.  So at peace, prays that for all of us.  Loves all of us.  Lift up your heads and trust Jesus.

Thinks perhaps the people that don’t know what is happening are living in fear.  Prays for the unsaved to see who the King of Glory is.

Gospel –

When we believe in Jesus and all He did, we have a future so bright, so amazing, so filled with hope.  We live in a broken world and there is beauty here that is awe inspiring.  But yet Jesus has been preparing a place for us for 2,000 years and beyond that  for eternity.  So incredible, so excited!

The Gospel is about what Jesus did.  He died, was buried and rose again, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

Our sins paid for by the God of the universe, King of kings and Lord of lords.  Just asked to have to have faith in that blood.  To take away every sin, completely.  He was perfect, fulfilled the Law.  The Son of God. 

He loves us, wants to save us for eternity with Him.

Warns if reject this, will go to hell.

It;s nothing we do, it is grace through faith, an unearned gift.

Be saved today.
