Watchman River Tom – April 20, 2024. Israel Strikes Again! Shhh..

Another great day the Lord has made for us, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Tom wants to tell us about something new he is doing that he feels was led of the Lord.  Another YouTube site called More Watchman River.  He has already made several that can be viewed.  Wants to keep the other at his usual format, and 30-40 minutes but had other things he wants to do, that will be on the other one.   May not be every day, may be shorter, no news, but prayer, maybe sing, communion, Bible reading, prayer request, lift up Jesus, encourage each other.

In these days we cling to Jesus, He will give peace beyond understanding.

News – 

Insider Paper – One killed and 8 wounded at a bombing in Iraq military base.   Once again Israel is not taking responsibility and others say they don’t know who did it, but Iran said it’s Israel.  Tom says we know it’s Israel.

Amir – Attack on headquarters of militias of Iran south of Baghdad.    IRGC said it was an Israeli attack in response to recent militia attacks.

Bubba News – when Israel attacked Iran last night it falls under the “rumors of war”.  Seems it’s all speculation.  Israel won’t talk and Iran never admits defeat or failure out of shame.  Latest update is Israel fired 3 missiles from outside of Iranian airspace.  The target was air defense radar sites that help protect Iran’s nuclear facility there.  Saying the strike took out the site. Meant as as a signal to Iran that it has the capability to strike Iran but not looking to escalate the situation.  Says this was a significant move by Israel.  The 1st time Israel has used fighter jets and missiles to target Iran since 1979.  Shows Israel is capable of bombing nearby nuclear facilities, undetected.

Israel Radar – Satellite images appear to confirm a strike on radar of Iran’s air defenses.  

Amir – In an interview Iran Foreign Minister refuses to blame Israel for this attack and says Iran has no intention of responding.  Said last night it was not an attack, says these were not like toys children play with or UFO’s he said. Says if Israel attacks our country, response will be immediate.  Amir says we can think the time of the current round of blows has ended for now.

Amir shows video of Columbia University chanting, we don’t want a 2 state, we want 48. We don’t want 2 states we want all of it.  Tom says  everyone wants Israel.  It’s God’s.  A spiritual war.

Daily Mail – The US Air Force secretly develops missiles that could obliterate Iran’s nuclear facility by zapping their electronics without harming civilians.  The microwave weapons are fitted into an air-launched cruise missiles and delivered from B52 bombers.  They can fly into enemy airspace at low altitudes and emit sharp pulses of high power microwave energy that fry computer chips.  Tom says,  like a flying microwave oven!

Insider paper – Taiwan’s defense minister detects 21 Chinese military aircraft, a surge during a 3 hour window today. Ahead of May 20 inauguration of incoming president.  

North Korea’s turn – Reuters.  North Korea conducts cruise missile warhead test on Friday.  It tests of new anti-aircraft test missile on west sea of Korea.  This cruise missile is believed to be designed to carry a nuclear warhead.

Tom  says when a person doesn’t believe in Jesus and they read these things, their future isn’t bright.  If they don’t read the Word, believe in Jesus, they have no place to put their hope.  We do, in Jesus.  Jesus is coming to take us to Him, a place that He’s preparing!

FBI Director warns risk of China hack on our energy infrastructure.  China has plans to dominate on the world stage. Plans to give low blows to civilian infrastructure and induce panic and break America’s will to resist.  Also says China has taken a hybrid approach to its efforts to weaken the US involving cyber security and counterintelligence and crime. Tom says we don’t worry.  It shows we are closer to the rapture.

Large explosions and fire reported in Happy Valley Goose Bay Newfoundland near explosive material.

BBC – apocalyptic Dubai floods shake their “perfect city”.  About 10 inches of rain, twice the UAE’s yearly average fell in a single day.  Underwater, cars floating.

Earthquakes – past 24 hours. 39 over 4.0, 3 over 5.0.

Clown World – 

AP – Meta’s new AI models.  Zuckerberg says the most intelligent AI assistant used.  However when tried it out with people it’s bizarre exchanges showed ongoing limitations.  One joined a mom’s FaceBook to talk about its gifted child. Another tried to give away non-existent items to confuse members of a forum.  Tom  laughs and says its 2030, own nothing and be happy!

A Finnish company begins making food from air and solar power.  From a yellowish powder made of single cell organisms.   Hoped to be used in pasta, meat alternatives, cheese, milkshakes and as an egg replacement.     Used to make chocolate bars in Singapore,  with electricity.  No thanks, I’ll have water!

Says went from head knowledge to heart for the Lord.  Now changed.  Keep looking up.

Woman at the well, never too late, Jesus is our lifeline.  Today is the day of salvation.  No matter where life takes us He’s there waiting.  He is our living water.

Our names are written in the Book of Life already.  We are co-heirs with Christ and we have joy in the Lord, we rejoice.

He is in total control.  We watch, wait and stay prepared.  Until He comes to take us.  Keep the faith, sharing the Good News.

Gospel 

Jesus came to take care of the sin problem forever.  By the power of His blood, His love story.  God sent His only begotten Son, shows the seriousness of sin.  Before Jesus, a perfect Lamb was sacrificed to act to cover sin for a year, pointing to Jesus.  Once we put our faith in His one time payment, we are forgiven.  

He was crucified, buried,  rose again, seen by over 500 people.  Believe and you will be saved, receive Holy Spirit, born again, rapture ready, forever His with Him.
